LITTLE STARS PROGRAM

Kiki Dance Collective's Little Stars program has been beautifully tailored for your little dancer. Two decades of dance magic has taught us that children learn best when they're having fun.

These creative classes introduce young dancers to a range of dance and movement styles through imaginative themed sessions. We seamlessly blend literacy, numeracy, and science into every plié and pirouette, nurturing physical, social, and cognitive development.

Young children naturally love to move and dance, and Little Stars allows them to express themselves through movement. It's a fantastic introduction to dance at a young age, building the foundations for a lifelong love of movement and dance.

Dance Play

The Dance Play class is a creativity filled opportunity for your child to get moving at a young age. The class is full of colourful props and fun games and activities for our little dancers. Emphasis is placed on creating a positive and friendly environment where you child feels safe and happy. The Dance Play class has the foundations of ballet however largely focuses on listening, waiting your turn, spatial awareness, musicality, awareness of others, creativity and expressing yourself. Students develop beautifully as individuals and dancers throughout the year and prepare themselves to be part of our end of year production where they perform a 2.5 minute piece independently.

Little stars 1, 2 & 3

Our Little Stars classes meet the foundations of ballet, but still place a strong emphasis on freedom of movement and creativity. The classes incorporate structured exercises, balanced with fun and engaging activities that develop a child’s own individual qualities. These classes prepare them for future levels of classical ballet and contemporary.

Little stars beats

The Little Stars Beats classes are the foundations of hip hop and contemporary dance. Students dance to a variety of pop songs, whilst focusing on the joy of movement and individual creativity. Emphasis is also placed on developing strong technique at an early age.
